- Division is your friend for this activity. Instead of writing numbers in the billions, divide them by multiples of 10 so that you are dealing with numbers in the thousands.
- Whenever you record a country or region name, also include the number that shows why you picked that country/region.
- Be aware of HOW the data set is presenting information. Throughout, it compiles information by continent or region in addition to country.
- Often you will be looking for information by COUNTRY.
- Be sure you are looking at and recording the correct information
- Whatever you do not finish in class is homework.
