Nov. 7 -CE/Biomes Quiz, Defining Culture

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today in class we will be taking our Columbian Exchange and Biomes quiz and then starting Unit 5 covering Human Geography. Woohoo! This should be a relatively easy quiz and hopefully not too stressful! After the quiz we are starting with our discussion of culture. We will be discussing culture today and then complete a worksheet and discuss different facets of culture together as a group. Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.
Objectives:
  • Respond to select response questions about the Columbian Exchange and Biomes
  • Analyze the different aspects of culture through a lecture/discussion and examining our own personal and national culture

  3.  Discuss: Introduction to Culture 
    1. Take notes on the class discussion as we look to answer the lesson questions:

      4. Take notes on the following being sure to record definitions and examples.

      1. Features of Culture: For each feature of culture, think of one example common to people in the United States, OR in the country where you were born.
