Aug 22 -Intro Presentations

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today in class we will be continuing our work with your Paragraph about yourself. Except today is going to be even more exciting because you will be creating a Slideshow to introduce your partner! First, we will be going over some of the functions of Google Slides, then you will get time to work on your partner's introduction. After that, we will do a short tutorial on good presentation skills. This should be pretty quick and fun so I am looking forward to seeing what you got! Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

Objectives:

• Create a presentation using Google Apps and give an oral presentation

1. Set one academic goal for yourself this semester. Set one social goal for yourself this semester. (A total of two goals). Be specific! (go deeper than “I want all ‘A’s.”)

3. Presentation Creation: "About Me"
1. For this activity you will be making a new Google Presentation, creating five slides about your partner. Each partner will make an individual presentation about their partner. Then you will integrate both presentations into one file to present to the class. Be sure to refer to the guidelines and rubric before you start this project presentation.
