May 31 -Childrens book Final

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.
Objectives:

  • Show geographic mastery of Asia
  • Understand the multiple causes of tensions and continued conflict between groups in the Middle East
Agenda:
  1. Turn in (individual) Israeli & Palestinian Annotated Reading & Notes
  2. Turn in (group) Storyboard
  3. Turn in (everyone uploads) Google Doc Written Story [Classroom]
  4. Turn in (everyone uploads) Google Slides Final Story Book [classroom]
  5. Presenting your storybook
    1. divide class 1/2 and groups of 4
    2. read your storybook to the group of 4
    3. determine, in the group, the "Best" storybook.
    4. Why do you like ti "best"
    5. Storybooks must have all the requirements to be considered "Best"
    6. Each 1/2 of class shares and discusses for Best book
    7. Whole class hears the presentation of 2 best books.
  6. Children's Book Project on the Middle East Conflict
  7. Your story will need to have a beginning, middle, and end. You are limited to 10 slides/pages
  8. Your children’s book must include:
    1. Title
    2. Introduction
    3. Factual information about the conflict based on information we learned in class as well as supplemental information.
    4. At least two different characters that have different views of the Middle East Conflict
    5. Include the specified terms in bolded text
