This is excellent practice for those of you who will be taking AP Euro and/or APUSH over the next couple of years of history. It is the main type of writing that needs to be mastered for those lovers of history out there. Let's get down to business! Below you will find our agenda, homework, and resources for the day.

- Comments and grade for the 3 sample papers
- You will submit this to Google Classroom (1 per table group)
- Discuss the 3 samples (whole class)
- Analyze attitudes toward and evaluate the motivations behind the European acquisition of African colonies in the period 1880-1914.
- You need to have a thesis that does NOT simply restate the question.
